For most, graphic design is a fashionable career option as people continue to adopt a stylized, visual, commercial culture. Being taught that our "voices" should be bright, bold, colorful, sexual, and provocative. Design and communication is flattened to a means to a colorful end. Communicating ideas or adding value to the social and visual landscape of culture is ignored.
justlucky loves ideas. The understanding that ideas are powerful. The idea that that our skills are best used when we care as much about your message as you do. Community partnerships are the basis for truly effective and valuable communication. Yes, we are visuals and passionate communicators. Our voices are spoken through the marriage of image and idea. Our passion is intentional design. This design community is for those with ideas, for people who have something to say and want to say it better, more clearly and more beautifully.
Excellent Graphic design is about focus, clarification and progression. Questioning the process and end result should be constant. When this happens we trust that effective design will be the result.
We are communicators, designers, inventors, illustrators (yes, we draw), photographers, visionaries, progressive passionate people, with one goal. To passionately communicate yours.
justlucky entered Drew Melton's head in November 2008... Just as the economy began collapsing. Through many great projects we have survived and continue to design for a variety of clients from West Michigan to Uganda. We want to thank our earliest clients as they rode out a great many bumps and hiccups with us.
